Holly is the third woman in history to have been married. First, she married actor Danny Quinn. They got married in 1991, then divorced two years later. She first met Jim Carrey in 1994 during the auditions for Ace Ventura Pet Detective. They didn't get the part however, they began to bond while they were filming Dumb and Dumber. They got married in the year 1996. The marriage was less than a month, until they broke up in the year 1997. The year 2001 saw Holly married Francis Greco. A Canadian native, Greco was an investment banker. In 2008, while married to Greco, she became a Canadian citizen. They divorced in 2014 Holly lives with her three children with her three children in Oakville Ontario Canada. Since 1992 Holly and her dad Grant, and their families set up their own A Fund at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in memory of her brother Alexander, about whom Holly declared, "He was a boy filled with dreams, hopes and ideas. When Alexander died at the age of 14, the boy had travelled across Europe as well as Central America. He also lived at New York City as well as Los Angeles. This gave him a fascination with archaeology, architecture, and history.

Alaina was born on November 8, 1994 in the home of Kristy and J. J. Suddeth from Rossville, Georgia. Alaina began to sing at the age of three years old. The first time she sang in public was a singing in a choir for children as well as at the venue for karaoke for a family vacation. She sang at church and in eateries, on holiday weekends, and everywhere she could within a 30 mile radius. Two years ago, at the age of 8, Alaina took part in the talent contest at the Southern Stars Pageant and won. In the following year, she was on the Kids stage at the Chattanooga Riverbend Festival. The stage was used annually until age 12, at which point she was crowned the winner of a competition which allowed her to perform on the main stage of the festival. At the age of 10, she traveled from Florida from Florida to Orlando for the purpose of competing in the American Model and Talent Competition. She won more than 1500 kids at the competition. Alaina performed in Georgia's Country Gospel Music Association's youth chorus. At age 12, Alaina made her first of numerous trips to Nashville. She frequented Tootsie's bar, and numerous other bars on Broadway. Alaina was the winner in 2009 from Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park's WinniSTAR young talent contest. Alaina was in awe of singing by her cousin, Holly Witherow, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Alaina was employed at CiC's Pizza before becoming a part of Idol. She went to Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe in Fort Oglethorpe Georgia and also was a cheerleader.
